Cedar Grove Gift Shop/Market
A drive down Highway 180, also known as Kings Canyon Scenic Byway, is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. Once visitors reach the end of this scenic drive, they’ll find the aptly named Roads End — an ideal jumping-off point for seeing the area’s sights on foot or horseback. If you plan on exploring the parks via Highway 180 to Roads End and beyond, it’s a good idea to come prepared with some supplies before you venture too far from the car.
Cedar Grove Market is near Roads End, right on Highway 180, and makes a fantastic pit stop for picking up park essentials. With several well-stocked aisles, it’s easy to find exactly what you need. If you’re planning on camping, you’ll find important gear such as bear-proof food containers that are a must for all campers. For the perfect picnic, stop by to pick up food, drinks, and a comfy blanket to sit on. You can even commemorate your visit with a unique keepsake from the market’s souvenir section.
And here’s a pro tip: If you’re heading out to Roads End toward the end of the peak season (late September), the market holds an excellent end-of-summer gift shop sale!
