Boil Notice for Kings Canyon
Due to a recent water main break in Kings Canyon, a boil water notice is currently in effect. The health and safety of our guests is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience.
Dining at John Muir Lodge is temporarily impacted. The restaurant is currently open with limited services, to-go dining only available with a limited menu.
Guests are encouraged to consider dining at Peaks Restaurant at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to safely restore full service.
Exploring the parks? Plan ahead!
To avoid lines at park entrances this summer, we recommend purchasing your park pass in advance and using the dedicated pass-only lanes at entrance stations. Buying your park pass ahead of time means less time waiting at the entrance and more time enjoying Sequoia and Kings Canyon. For the most up-to-date details and official purchase options, visit the NPS website. Plan to arrive before 9 a.m. or after 3 p.m. for the shortest wait times.
For the latest updates on road conditions and park access, please visit the National Park Service website or call: (559) 565-3341, press 1, then 1 again.
Please note that cash is no longer accepted at the entrance stations.
STAY
A variety of places to stay inside the park keep you close to the majestic giant sequoia trees, deep canyons and soaring cliffs that make Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks famous.
