Current Road Conditions in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks

One site on Generals Highway, between Hospital Rock and Giant Forest Museum, requires extensive drilling and rebuilding in order to complete repairs. In order to complete the work before the peak of the summer season, crews are scheduled to be working in late April and continue through approximately mid-June.

Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30 (subject to change)
Occasional traffic delays are expected as construction equipment is moved to the construction site.

Any periods of closure will not affect vehicle travel between Grant Grove and Giant Forest.
