Grant Grove Cabins

Open Seasonally

Clustered within Grant Grove Village, these rustic national park cabins offer the perfect address from which to explore the natural splendor of Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park.

Grant Grove Cabins are available in both timber and tent cabin styles. They are all within walking distance of the Grant Grove and world-famous General Grant Tree, soaring skyward some 274 feet, making these accommodations among the most requested lodging options in Kings Canyon National Park. Guests keen on national park history will appreciate the "Honeymoon Cabin" (officially, it's Cabin 9). Built in 1910, it is the oldest structure still standing in Grant Grove Village, with many stories to tell.

Located in Grant Grove Village, these cabins are for guests who want a more rustic experience, while enjoying a convenient location from which to explore all the sights and activities found in both Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

Testimonials

"These cabins are so cute and a really great place to stay if you're going to the area. Check in for the cabins is done in the lodge. The cabin we stayed in had two beds, each with plenty of warm blankets. The heater did not work, but there was a space heater that really kept us warm. The patio area had a picnic table and a stove. We made a fire each night and sat outside to enjoy the cool mountain air. Bathrooms are not inside the cabins, they are just a short walk away. We brought some food with us, but there was also a camp store and a restaurant. If you want to eat at the restaurant, I would suggest going early since it is the only one around. It was really a perfect stay."

"These cabins are well-maintained, the towels provided are nice, the sheets and bedding are clean and the cabin (we had) was spacious. Make sure you have a headlamp or other lighting to use in the cabin after dark. It was chilly the night we were there (low of 48), but the bedding was ample enough to keep us warm. There is wifi in the lodge nearby, but don't expect it to work in the cabin."
