Sequoia Video Gallery
Have you ever wondered exactly what Sequoia National Park is and why it is so renowned? Unfortunately it is sometimes difficult to put into perspective exactly how huge a giant sequoia actually is, how majestic the mountain range of the Sierra Nevada looks at sunset, or how tranquil an alpine meadow can be. Well there's good news for those who want to see it but haven't had the chance to make the trip yet. Browse our new Video Gallery below for an inside look at the wonders of Sequoia! Special thanks to Finley-Holiday Films for these amazing and beautiful videos.

Caves of Sequoia
One of the lesser known facts about Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is that they are home to over 200 caves! The two parks protect half the caves more than a mile long in California, the longest cave in the state, and numerous others containing rare minerals, unique animals, and areas of scientific research. Previously unknown caves and animal species are still being discovered today! Watch the video below for a glimpse of the fascinating documentary, Caves of Sequoia.
One of Sequoia's most popular attractions is the abundance of wild life, and no animal sighting is more highly prized than catching a view of our black bears. In Sequoia, all of our bears are black bears, even though they can range in color from black to brown to blonde! Whether you've seen our resident bears in person or would rather see them in action from the comfort of your own home, you can see them here. The video below is geared toward kids, but is fun and educational for all ages. Enjoy!
Falling Sequoia Smashes Car
When a tree falls in the forest and nobody's around, does it make a sound? Alas, we may never know, but you can bet a falling giant sequoia is pretty tough to miss! Rest assured this doesn't happen often (these trees live to be thousands of years old after all) but we do get asked regularly what happens when an old-growth giant sequoia tree falls over. Watch this clip to get a firsthand account of what the experience is like.
