Waterfalls in Kings Canyon National Park

Kings Canyon Waterfalls

Kings Canyon Mist Falls

Roaring River Falls, located just off Highway 180 inside the Kings Canyon Valley, welcomes visitors with a spectacular show. Dropping 40 feet over a narrow ledge, the falls’ rushing waters foam, froth and churn with unexpected voracity and offer a fascinating look at the power of Mother Nature.

Farther up the valley, at Roads End, there is another Kings Canyon waterfall to lure visitors from their cars – Mist Falls. After following one of several trails to the falls, visitors will find the sparkling waters of the Kings River cascading 100 feet over a steep, rocky, granite incline.

Testimonials

“My Mother and I stayed two nights at the Wuksachi Lodge in the Silliman building recently.  The views and surrounding environment were spectacular.  The cuisine at the Lodge was wonderfully tasty and well prepared.  Lola, our server both days, was very friendly and a great server.  The room was nice and our view of the forest was second to none.  We really enjoyed our stay.  Would recommend it to anyone.”
