Planning a Vacation with Kids

Traveling with Kids

At Sequoia, kids of all ages are welcome. To help you enjoy your time here, we've created a list of things you might need when you visit:

  • A magnifying glass.  Sure, there are lots of big things here . . . but there's a lot of small stuff, too.  A magnifying glass can help kids see some of the smaller things in the park.
  • A backpack.  It's great for carrying your stuff with you so your hands are free.
  • Bug spray.  Some of the visitors in our park are a bit too friendly.  So keep bugs away with some bug spray.
  • A disposable camera.  You never know what you might see when you are here, so be sure you’re ready to grab the perfect picture.

    Testimonials

“My Mother and I stayed two nights at the Wuksachi Lodge in the Silliman building recently.  The views and surrounding environment were spectacular.  The cuisine at the Lodge was wonderfully tasty and well prepared.  Lola, our server both days, was very friendly and a great server.  The room was nice and our view of the forest was second to none.  We really enjoyed our stay.  Would recommend it to anyone.”
