Planning a Vacation with Kids

Traveling with Kids

At Sequoia, kids of all ages are welcome. To help you enjoy your time here, we´ve created a list of things you might need when you visit:

  • A magnifying glass.  Sure, there are lots of big things here . . . but there´s a lot of small stuff, too.  A magnifying glass can help you see some of the smaller things in the park.
  • A backpack.  It´s great for carrying your stuff with you so your hands are free.
  • Bug spray.  Some of the visitors in our park are a bit too friendly.  So keep bugs away with some bug spray.
  • A disposable camera.  You never know what you might see when you are here - so be sure you’re ready to grab the perfect picture.

    Testimonials

“We brought our daughters and their families (10 of us) to Sequoia and stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge.  We had a wonderful time.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The rooms were clean.  We ate several meals at the Lodge and everyone enjoyed them.  We even did Yoga!!  I have recommended Wuksachi to family and friends.  Hopefully we can go back in Summer to see more of the forest since some areas were closed for the winter.”
