Grant Grove - Kings Canyon National Park

Grant Grove

Grant Grove, once called General Grant National Park, is today, a small, detached portion of Kings Canyon National Park. Home to the legendary General Grant Tree and hundreds of other soaring giant sequoias, Kings Canyon’s Grant Grove has been a place of pilgrimage for nature lovers since 1890.

In addition to Grant Grove, Kings Canyon is also home to Redwood Canyon, the largest remaining grove of sequoia trees in the world.

“My Mother and I stayed two nights at the Wuksachi Lodge in the Silliman building recently.  The views and surrounding environment were spectacular.  The cuisine at the Lodge was wonderfully tasty and well prepared.  Lola, our server both days, was very friendly and a great server.  The room was nice and our view of the forest was second to none.  We really enjoyed our stay.  Would recommend it to anyone.”
