Celebrating 100 Years of the National Park Service

The National Park Service turns 100 years old in 2016. To celebrate their centennial, they are encouraging all Americans to Find Your Park.

The birthday celebration will include events in all the national parks, but also efforts to encourage youth to get out and see our parks. From September 1, 2015 all through the next year, every fourth grader in the country can get a free Every Kid in a Park Pass, giving the whole family free entry to every national park in the country. If you have a fourth grader in you family, go to the Every Kid in a Park website to get your pass.
