Wuksachi Lodge, in the heart of Sequoia National Park, is a perfect base for learning the eco-friendly yet exhilarating sport of cross-country skiing. Featuring miles of Sequoia skiing trails, it’s a great place to learn if you’re just beginning, or to show off your telemark turn if you’re a Nordic ninja. Either way, you’re (snow)bound to have a great time on your Northern California cross-country skiing adventure.

The Alta Market and Ski Shop at Wuksachi Lodge is your outfitter to get equipped for your winter adventure. We have kid-friendly snow play equipment and snowshoes for rent (see below for pricing).  We also sell those essential items to keep you on the trail like sunscreen, hats and gloves, cross-country ski wax as well as a wide selection of trail snacks and foods to keep you fueled while you visit the giant trees with a blanket of snow at their feet.

The Market at Grant Grove Village is Kings Canyon’s hub for snow sport adventures, with cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals available.  And if you need other winter essentials, we won't leave you out in the cold!
