Cedar Grove Information

Cedar Grove

The Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon lies in the eastern portion of the park and encompasses the Middle and South Forks of the Kings River, which is popular among kayakers and rafters. With terrain similar to that of Yosemite Valley, Cedar Grove also boasts South Fork Canyon, which, at a depth of 8,200 feet, is the deepest canyon in the United States.

In addition to the river and South Fork Canyon, Kings Canyon National Park’s Cedar Grove area is home to several other awe-inspiring attractions, including:

    Testimonials

“My Mother and I stayed two nights at the Wuksachi Lodge in the Silliman building recently.  The views and surrounding environment were spectacular.  The cuisine at the Lodge was wonderfully tasty and well prepared.  Lola, our server both days, was very friendly and a great server.  The room was nice and our view of the forest was second to none.  We really enjoyed our stay.  Would recommend it to anyone.”
