Sequoia Camping Facilities

There's nothing like a Sierra Nevada sunset. There are 14 campgrounds in Sequoia and Kings Canyon that let you experience the wonder of the great outdoors.

Well, the best way to “hear the trees” of Sequoia is to sleep with them.  There are seven Sequoia campgrounds and seven Kings Canyon campgrounds available, all of which are operated by the National Park Service. Advance reservations are available only for Lodgepole and Dorst campgrounds; all others are first-come, first-served. Regardless of which Sequoia campground you choose, you’ll find picnic tables, fire grills, and bear-proof storage boxes.  For those who don't feel like roughing it, the modern Wuksachi Lodge is centrally located to the campgrounds in the Lodgepole area.

Please Note: Kings Canyon and Sequoia camping sites do not offer RV hookups.

For complete camping information and reservations, please call (800) 365-CAMP (International callers dial 301-722-1257), or visit NPS On-line.
