There are seven Sequoia campgrounds and seven Kings Canyon campgrounds available, all of which are operated by the National Park Service. Advance reservations are available only for Lodgepole and Dorst campgrounds; all others are first-come, first-served. Regardless of which Sequoia campground you choose, you’ll find picnic tables, fire grills, and bear-proof storage boxes.

Location: 6,700 foot elevation, located along the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River, 2 miles from the Giant Forest sequoia grove.
*New for the 2011-2012 winter season, Lodgepole campsites and road will close from November 28, 2011 through April 2012. Camping is available at either Potwisha Campground in Sequoia National Park, or Azalea Campground in Kings Canyon National Park
