Boyden Cave Kings Canyon

Boyden Cave

Located roughly halfway between the Grant Grove and Cedar Grove sections of Kings Canyon National Park, Boyden Cave is a massive underground cavern featuring beautiful geological formations.  Daily tours are offered during the summer months and showcase some of the cave´s most impressive features such as The Drapery Room, The Pancake Room, The Upside Down City, and The Bat Grotto.  The inside of Boyden Cave stays a constant 55°F so a sweater or light jacket are recommended.  Tickets can be purchased at the cave itself.  For more information, call 559-338-0959 or email boydencavern@gmail.com.

Testimonials

“We brought our daughters and their families (10 of us) to Sequoia and stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge.  We had a wonderful time.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The rooms were clean.  We ate several meals at the Lodge and everyone enjoyed them.  We even did Yoga!!  I have recommended Wuksachi to family and friends.  Hopefully we can go back in Summer to see more of the forest since some areas were closed for the winter.”
