Geocaching is a kind of high-tech outdoor treasure hunting game in which the players use a GPS (Global Positioning System) unit to hide and/or seek various objects. With the Discovery Package, players seek out various sights throughout Sequoia National Park, log the coordinates with the GPS, and earn points based on how much each object is worth. You can download and print a copy of the Sequoia Scavenger Hunt game sheet (PDF - 552kb) or pick one up at the Wuksachi Lodge front desk. To further enhance the experience, you can purchase a field guide from our gift shop to help you identify the various plants and animals on the game sheet.
The Discovery Package includes lodging accommodations and the use of a GPS unit to document your discoveries.
