Earth Day: Life in Bloom
Join us for a walk into the world of foothill wildflowers! Surviving in the wild long enough to bloom can be a difficult task. Learn their tricks for survival. 1 hour. For the Saturday Earth Day program, meet near the flagpole at the Foothills Visitor Center. For the program on Sunday, meet at the dirt road next to Powisha Campground site #14.
Film Night: America's Best Idea
Join us for a one hour excerpt of National Parks: American's Best Idea, one of the most inspiring documentaries ever made. Meet at the Ash Mountain Rec Hall on Sycamore Drive for this 1 hour event. 2 hours; 2 miles. Meet at the base of the General Sherman Tree. Deepen your understanding and appreciation of the world's largest trees.
Scat & Tracks Talk*
Investigate the clues just like a crime scene investigator would and discover what animals you may find in the forest. Meet at the Lodgepole Visitor Center. 30 minutes.
