WUKSACHI LODGE® DINING ROOM
Serving Earth Friendly Foods and Stunning Views
Wuksachi Lodge's glass-walled restaurant is a High Sierra theater for sumptuous foods and spectacular views.
The 90-seat dining room combines an upscale, rustic décor with a blend of forest-inspired colors and floor-to-ceiling windows to create a setting that is at once cozy and elegant. By day, the views of the surrounding forest are a compelling distraction for diners of all ages. Evenings, a massive stone fireplace and relaxed atmosphere invite guests to linger over dinner and dessert.
Open year round, the Wuksachi Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. As the premier dining destination in Sequoia National Park, the restaurant menus easily accommodate a variety of palates and appetite sizes. A bountiful breakfast buffet (served seasonally) is a popular choice for guests building energy for a day of active recreation. A casual lunch menu caters to hungry guests on the go (with box lunches available, too). At dinner time, guests can go casual or opt for elegance, thanks to a menu that is both varied and innovative. A full bar featuring specialty mountain themed cocktails and an extensive wine list complements the Wuksachi dining experience.
Executive Chef Steven Sterritt oversees a menu that is rich in earth-friendly foods that utilize fresh, local, and seasonal food products. As part of Delaware North Companies’® focus on sustainable cuisine, Chef Sterritt incorporates ecologically friendly seafood, farm-raised poultry, and hormone-free beef and game products whenever possible. And, he is finding a very positive response from health conscious guests.
In the middle of a National Park, where elevations rise to nearly 15,000 feet, Wuksachi is blessed with a spectacular setting for its restaurant. And, with his approach to healthful, flavorful dining, Chef Sterritt’s culinary offerings rise to the same high levels.
