Lodgepole and Sequoia Campgrounds
There are seven campgrounds located in Sequoia National Park, all which are operated by the National Park Service. Advance reservations are available only for Lodgepole and Dorst Campgrounds; all others are first-come, first served. Each campground offers picnic tables, fire grills, and bear-proof storage boxes, no-hookups. Lodgepole Area
- Lodgepole: Year-round 214-site campground along the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River, two miles from the Giant Forest sequoia grove. 6,700 ft. elevation.
- Dorst: Seasonal 204-site campground near Dorst Creek, ten miles from Giant Forest. 6,800 ft. elevation.
Foothills Area
- Potwisha: Seasonal 42-site campground located on the Middle Fork of the Kaweah River, four miles from Sequoia Park entrance. 2,100 ft. elevation.
- Buckeye Flat: Seasonal 10-site campground in the foothills along the Middle Fork of the Kaweah River, 12 miles from the Giant Forest area.

- South Fork: Year-round 10-site campground in the foothills on the South Fork of the Kaweah River. 3,600 ft. elevation.
Mineral King Area
- Atwell Mill: Seasonal 21-site campground in the Mineral King area along the East Fork of the Kaweah River. 6,650 ft. elevation.
- Cold Springs: Seasonal 40-site campground located in the Mineral King Area, 23 miles off Highway 198. 7,500 ft. elevation.
